Mason Thomas Barker has been using light to tell stories for all of his adult life. As a medium, light not only transmits superficial information, but also has the potential to connect with something much deeper. Mason is guided by this inspired truth, and infuses the concept into all of his work. Currently finishing his theatre degree at the University of Southern California, he has been an artist and collaborator on numerous productions including The Letter with the LA Opera, The Boeing Atlas Achievement Awards, The Ash Girl with the USC School of Theatre and An Evening With Lily Tomlin. As a designer, Mason brings his upbeat attitude and offbeat sense humor, creating a sense of life and energy in any production environment. Born and raised in Santa Cruz, California, Mason now resides in Los Angeles.
